Headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Corridor CDL Training provides online theory and offers behind-the-wheel training for students seeking a commercial driver’s license.

Corridor CDL Training is equipped with automatic transmission trucks.

Entry-Level Driver Training

  • This web-based course is required before you can start the behind-the-wheel driver training.

    Cost: $125

    Includes self-paced online course (approximately 8 hours)

    Note: A 4% fee is added for credit/debit card payments

  • Hands-on learning includes pre-trip vehicle inspection, backing skills, and behind-the-wheel driving.

    The training school trucks are automatic transmission.

    Class A Cost: $4,975

    Class A training is up to three weeks

    Class B Cost: $1,875

    Class B training is one week

    Cost includes behind-the-wheel training and testing

    Drug Test: $50-$100 (depending on where it is conducted)

    Long-form Physical: $80-$150 (depending on where it is conducted)

    CDL Permit: $12+ (depending on license renewal fees; issued at the drivers license station)

    Register with the FMSCA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse: $1-5

    CDL Fee: $8 (issued at the drivers license station)

Endorsements

  • Self-paced online course (approximately 6 hours)

    Behind-the-Wheel Training (approximately 3 hours)

    Cost: $600

    A discounted rate is offered if your equipment is used for training.

    Testing: No charge if scheduled with the DMV or $100 per test if scheduled at a community college.

  • Need help studying for Pre Trip or already have your Class A/Class B CDL or CLP, but have been out of a truck for a while? Students may schedule individual sessions by appointment only.

    One Week (totalling 30 hours): $2,500

    One Day (totalling 6 hours): $500
